International Film Festival - Films of the Future
Spanish Here
Films of the Future Festival is an international event taking place in Santiago de Chile, New York, and Toronto, bringing together global perspectives and diverse cultural contexts under a common vision: to promote a cinema that imagines and builds a better future.
The festival focuses on avant-garde cinema and emerging new media, such as virtual reality, providing a platform for creators who dare to break molds and explore innovative narratives. Its goal is to inspire audiences toward a cinema that generates hope, envisions possibilities for change, and addresses urgent issues facing our society today.
Aligned with a commitment to climate action and a deep connection with the planet, the selected productions at the Films of the Future Festival address themes of sustainability, social justice, diversity, and gender equality. These stories showcase the potential of a world where humans, cultures, and ecosystems coexist harmoniously for a better future for society and the planet.
From films to immersive experiences, each piece aims to drive dialogue around new social and economic paradigms, bringing cinema that transcends the screen to create a positive and tangible impact in the real world. The festival invites collective reflection and inspiration, striving to shape the future we want for upcoming generations and for the planet.
